Years ago, James and and David were in a band called Jet, yes, Jet, but not that Jet, and when it broke up decided to start a band called The Gumbys. But you know how things go, we never did it. Smash cut to 40 years later and we decided to give it a go.
Hailing from Raleigh, North Carolina, and Fort Collins, Colorado, The Gumbys are David Baldwin and James Thompson. The two have been creative partners on and off since they were teenagers and had the idea that maybe the world needs a little retro-modern classic rock & roll. And even if the world doesn't need it, it's getting a dose anyway and it'll like it, damn it. Don't make us come back there.
